Better than My Moms Remedy when you have a cold!
Rosemary 80 drops (or 4 mL)
Eucalyptus Radiata- 40 drops (or 2mL)
Eucalyptus Globulus 40 drops (or 2mL)
Peppermint 20 drops (or 1mL)
Cedarwood 5 drops
Nutmeg 5 drops
Thyme Linalol 5 drops
Pine Needle - 5 drops
Blend all in an amber bottle. Mix well then use in any diffuser or a personal nasal inhaler. This blend can also be mixed with a lotion or carrier oil and applied to the skin. Mix no more than 36 drops per 2 ounces of carrier oil (Your choice of carrier oil suggestions would be fractionated coconut oil or jojoba.) The 36 drops in 2 ounces of carrier is about a 3% dilution. If you will be using it on children between 5-12 years dilute it to about 20 drops per 2 ounces of carrier oil. Apply just a few drops of the carrier oil/essential oil mix to the chest. You wont need to use a ton like you do of that sticky ointment!
Caution: Due to the Eucalyptus and Peppermint in this blend do not use as a massage oil on children or infants under 2 especially on their chest. Eucalyptus and Peppermint cooling vapors can cause young children to have a spasm occur that may block their airway. Also if used in young childs room only diffuse a small amount do not saturate the air.
Remember more is not better when it comes to the use of essential oils.
Pennys Favorite Blend with a new Twist!
Spearmint 10 drops
Grapefruit 8 drops
Lavender 6 drops
Niaouli 4 drops

I love the smell of Spearmint and Grapefruit blended together but recently I wanted to try to make a blend that not only would help me be more alert but would also add a few more twists to the excitement. So I tried this interesting combination.
Give it a try and see what you think. It is great at deodorizing any room too!
NASTY Odor remover Blend
Ever discover an old wet swimsuit that had been forgotten or a towel from the beach that got tossed in with the beach toys.
Oh Yeah You know what Im talking about. It smells awful. Well, this blend it not for those articles of clothing as you can just toss those in the laundry or if they are damaged due to the mildew youll have to toss them away. But this blend is great at removing nasty smelling air from any place they might be lurking.
Litsea Cubeba 60 drops
Orange 60 drops
Grapefruit 40 drops
Cinnamon Leaf 30 drops
Cassia 10 drops
Blend these all together in an amber bottle. Next you have a few options on how you want to use this blend depending on where the Nasty Odor is emanating from. If it is a large room that has a nasty odor put several drops in your fan diffuser or in a melted tart in a tart warmer. Let diffuser for at least 2 hours. Add more of the blend as needed.
If it is in a small area such as a closet place several drops on a Terra cotta disc and place in the room.
One other method is to add equal portions of this blend to an emulsifier and then add to distilled water as a room spray.
Wonderful Smelling Refreshing room Spray
